As the war in Iran enters its sixth week, even as President Trump keeps signaling that it's about to end, the fighting shows no signs of letting up. Iran continues to fire missiles at its Gulf neighbors. The Strait of Hormuz is still blocked. And just this weekend, after Iran shot down a U.S. fighter jet, the U.S. military had to conduct a massive operation to rescue a downed airman. All the while, America's closest allies in Europe continue to refuse Trump's demands for help.
